TCS Sydney Marathon

The TCS Sydney Marathon is the newest and most exciting addition to the Marathon Majors! If you are looking for an opportunity to get that prized sixth star medal then Sydney is your answer!

The TCS Sydney Marathon is a popular event that attracts a wide range of runners, from the experienced to the first timers. The marathon course offers stunning city views, starting at Bradfield Park in Milsons Point and crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Runners pass through iconic landmarks such as the Royal Botanic Gardens and the historic Rocks district before finishing at the beautiful and famous Sydney Opera House.

Since its beginning in 2001, The TCS Sydney Marathon has gained recognition and is now the seventh marathon in the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM), a series that includes the world’s largest and most well known marathons. It also serves as a qualifying event for the sought after Boston Marathon.

Get Kids Going!

Get Kids Going! is a national charity which gives disabled children and young people, up to the age of 26 years, the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport. We provide them with specially built sports wheelchairs so they can do: athletics, marathons, tennis, skiing, rugby, sailing, basketball, snowboarding and many other sports.

Get Kids Going! inspires young people to compete in sporting events, from start to paralympic level, by also giving them annual sports grants to help with their; training, travel, competition fees and the development of sports’ equipment. With your help many of these amazing youngsters can become world record holders and paralympic champions!
